Brent feels it is his duty to keep his dad's medic skills fresh. Today 
he cut a 1 & a 1/2 inch cut in his hand between his thumb and finger. If he had used a sharp knife, we may have ended up in the emergency room. As is was, the cut was deep. JT still has a fully stocked aid bag, so he treated it, closed it up and bandaged it. What a relief.
The wound is deep though and I'm sure it will scar. Brent came calmly out of his room and went straight to his dad; informed him that he was OK, but that he had been cut. We have had the knife talk before, but we went over it again this afternoon.
Did you use super glue? Renee fell once and sent her front teeth through her upper lip. She was on her way to the ER when a Doc friend told them to use super glue. It is what the doctors use.
Just something about boys and knives. My brothers never really cut themselves, but several pieces of our parents furniture had numerous puncures from knives. And Jarod slashed his bed. His punishment on that was to sleep on the same bed till he graduate from High School.
Wow. I guess I have a lot to look forward to. JT didn't use glue, but I have heard that before too.
lol... if you lucky he will only damage his own furniture
